Explore Burlington County
Burlington County offers one of the widest varieties of lifestyles and housing choices in South Jersey. Buyers can find historic homes, established suburban neighborhoods, condominiums, townhouses, 55 plus communities, newer construction, larger homes on wooded lots, and executive properties. Some of the most popular communities include Moorestown, Medford, Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, and Lumberton, each offering a very different feel and price range. Moorestown is known for its historic Main Street and larger homes, Medford for wooded neighborhoods and larger lots, Cinnaminson for convenient Philadelphia access and the River LINE, Delran for established suburban neighborhoods, and Hainesport and Lumberton for a quieter setting with newer housing options. Burlington County also offers convenient access to Routes 38, 73, 130, 295, and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Residents enjoy an abundance of parks, trails, shopping, restaurants, and community events. Popular outdoor destinations include Historic Smithville Park, Amico Island, Pennington Park, Rancocas State Park, and numerous township parks and recreation facilities. Shopping ranges from Moorestown’s Main Street and Moorestown Mall to major retail corridors along Routes 38 and 130. Burlington County also offers the NJ TRANSIT River LINE, which connects several communities with Camden and Trenton, while nearby PATCO provides additional access to Philadelphia. School districts vary by town, so buyers should always verify the specific district for each property. After 31 years in South Jersey real estate, I find Burlington County especially appealing because buyers can choose from so many different communities, home styles, price ranges, and lifestyles without leaving the county.
