Michaela Hartery is a seasoned realtor who brings compassion and expertise to the work that's defined her career: helping people fulfill their real-estate dreams. 

Michaela knows that her clients at Hometown Real Estate Group are often facing life-changing events — buying first homes, starting over after divorce, retiring, or settling a parent's estate. By thoroughly addressing their concerns, offering honest advice, and even helping to find qualified contractors, Michaela dispels the fear and uncertainty that buyers and sellers often experience and prepares them to pursue their real-estate goals with clarity and confidence. 

An expert on the mortgage market and the government aid programs available to buyers, Michaela is particularly gratified when she helps a single parent, a newcomer to America or someone with damaged credit fulfill the dream of home ownership. She is likewise tireless and creative in serving her higher-end residential buyers, investors, and repeat customers ready to move to larger homes. 

Active in the industry for more than 29 years, Michaela joined the staff at Hometown Real Estate Group because, as part of a highly focused firm, she is free to serve her clients' needs without the burden of corporate bureaucracy common in larger agencies. That independence, along with keen negotiating skills and the latest technology, have enabled Michaela to achieve positive results quickly for her clients, consistently outperforming her competition. Michaela has won the New Jersey Million Dollar Club's Silver Award 2022, Gold Award in 2021-2019. In 2019, Michaela was the #3 NJ RE/MAX agent in volume for selling more than over 100 homes & in 2018 she was #8. Michaela does not have a team. All buyers & sellers deal directly with Michaela and her assistant. 

Born and raised in Maple Shade, N.J., Michaela earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing from Rowan University, and is also certified as a paralegal. She currently resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with her husband of over 23 years, daughter & 3 kitties. Before joining Hometown Real Estate Group, she spent five years running a real-estate franchise as part of a worldwide operation. Today, she owns rental properties and invests in housing rehabilitation, staying deeply involved in the field she knows and loves. 

When she is not working, Michaela Hartery enjoys spending time with her family, salsa dancing, practicing yoga & meditating, bike riding, gardening, kayaking, traveling and helping charities that improve the lives of children and animals.
